Axist Clothing Campaign -
Visit the Axist website for behind-the-scenes video, downloadable wallpaper and many other goodies from Gilles' new Axist clothing campaign. Perry Ellis International chose Gilles Marini to be the face of its new Axist clothing line citing his effortless style, worldly wisdom and off-the-cuff wit. Gilles guest-starred as Robert, a handsome French chef who heats things up as a love interest for Chelsea (played by Laura Prepon) and you can still view the episode online for the next few weeks on NBC's website, here.
Scruples, Episode 1.01 "Pilot" (airdate TBA) -
Gilles just finished filming a spot in the new ABC pilot, "Scruples," based on Judith Krantz's best-selling novel. The show is executive produced by Oscar winner, Natalie Portman and Annette Savitch of Handsome Charlie Films alongside Krantz's son, Tony. The drama centers on "rich and powerful clothing designer Billy Winthrop Ikehorn (Claire Forlani) in a world of sex, revenge and scandal" and Gilles plays Renee Dufaux, "a Frenchman from Billy’s past." The character is expected to recur if the show is picked up to series. (Word on whether the pilot is picked up should be released in May during the ABC up fronts and, if picked up, may air in late 2012.) Further details TBA. (Source: Digital Spy).
